The ‘Stubai-Freitagsmusig’ is one of the currently most popular folk music groups in Tyrol.

In June 2002, Peter Margreiter, his wife Sonja Steusloff-Margreiter and Hubert Eberl met musically. Since then, the trio is playing real instrumental folk music from Tyrol and the entire Alpine Space in an unchanged regular staff. Over time, many pieces of music have flown from their own pen.

Furthermore, the group throws glances beyond the end of their noses. The repertoire includes not only contemporary folk music, but also world and pop music, as well as tango and the unique ‘Wienerlied’.
Concert tours have taken the trio to Switzerland, Italy, Belgium, Germany and many parts of Austria. So far, 5 sound carriers have been released.
The ‘Stubai-Freitagsmusig’ can also look back at many performances in Austrian and Bavarian radio and television, as well as RAI South Tyrol and SFR (Swiss Broadcasting Corporation).
Hubert Eberl is a full time music teacher and Peter Margreiter section leader in the Tyrolean ‘Landesmusikschulwerk’ (Music factory of the state Tyrol). Sonja Steusloff-Margreiter works in project management and organization for folk music events. Peter Margreiter is Chairman of the Tyrolean Folk Music Association and a freelancer for ORF Tirol (Tyrolian section of the Austrian Broadcasting Corporation).
